MEDITATION FOUNDATIONS - 4 WEEK COURSE - at Reunion Yoga + Pilates

Join this course for an accessible introduction to Mindfulness Meditation based on the Buddha's teaching of the Four Foundations of Mindfulness. These ancient teachings and practices support the cultivation of wisdom, compassion, and awakening amidst the difficulties of our times. Perhaps you have heard that Mindfulness can help with managing stress and anxiety and want to learn more, or you've tried some apps but have never meditated with other people in real life - whatever your experience or lack thereof, you are welcome in this course. 
 
Ruby will debunk common myths about meditation (you don't have to empty your mind!), explore different postures for meditation (sitting, standing, lying down, walking), and offer an introduction to lovingkindess and compassion practices to warm the heart and cultivate resilience.   Additional resources, suggested reading, and meditation recordings will be provided.

 

Cost: 
Regular Rate $140 + HST
Low Income Rate $60 + HST

*For folks with low income, there are 4 spots available at the reduced rate of $60 + HST. No questions asked, and these are available on a first come first served basis (no promocode needed)
